Crazy Horse on history

Books record history in the way that our parents and grandparents recounted the history of our tribe.  To properly understand our history we had to hear it truthfully so we could learn the lessons of our ancestors, therefore making us a better people.  To tell it truthfully was the way of the Indian.

In writing of history, the authors of books carry an enormous burden of honesty to record history accurately so that the appropriate lessons can be learned.

The fact that mankind learns so little from history is, in part, related to the lack of honesty of the authors in recounting history.

From my guide, Crazy Horse, through Ian Rogers, medium and spiritual teacher.
