In a land far away
A land I don’t know
There are furry animals, sun and snow
There is grass that like here, needs a mow
There are birds that sing, including the crow
It’s a land where people stay
With ancestors leaving a trail of actions and learning
For us to follow and to improve upon them, develop a yearning
It’s a land just like here
Where the people have both courage and fear
Why do we hate them because they are not near
Why do we bomb them, killing them from on high
Why can’t we accept them, even with a sigh
It’s one earth, big enough to share
All we need to do is care
