Crazy Horse on bravery and dominance

 

A person who hunts and kills an animal in the wild

Using a gun

Who then displays the head or part of the body of the animal 

For example a deer’s horn’s

Is trying to display their bravery and dominance

Over the animal they shot

By using a gun, usually from a distance 

There was no bravery 

They did not wrestle with the stags horn

The only dominance they are displaying 

Is that with the help of a gun, fired from a hiding spot

They killed the animal 

Such dominance is only felt by a coward

In watching your local birds

No matter your locale

You will notice that they never stray far

From their home territory 

For this is where they belong

No sick days, no holidays, no where have they gone days

Yet you call them wild

But they constantly overlook their territory 

As if it were their child

So many innovations are created to save time

From the washing machine, to the computer and faster transport 

How is this extra time used for the benefit of mankind 

It is not

Every innovation should be accompanied by a plan

As to how to benefit from the innovation 

Otherwise there is no meaningful point to the innovation 

For innovation for its own sake without a codicil benefit

Crazy Horse on the animal sleeps and the human weeps

 

The birds go to sleep

The snakes are buried deep

And the human begins to weep

For their hurts they want to keep

In daylight not giving a peep

But as night comes they are alone

And those who hurt them, they are wanting them to atone

But humans rarely do that, 

Especially after a spat

Which is why the animal sleeps

And the human weeps

Whether you live in a $5m house on a hill overlooking the sea

Or a $500 a month low level apartment in a High rise building 

It makes no difference when you are trapped 

Within your own mind and body

In a world without inner peace

For nothing can stop you from escaping the mirror of life

You will recognise such people

For they are the blamers 

Putting the responsibility for their inner failure 

At the feet of anyone else

But especially those who they know have what they don’t have

Inner peace

In the night sky

The moonshine dominates as the largest beacon 

Of light and energy

When a government is corrupted 

It is broken for its life

For it has shown that democracy is just a term

In comparing your child

To one from a much more advanced place of existence 

The child from a more advanced place than earth

Is not intrinsically sad

Is more self reliant 

And understands that the decisions they make directly affect their future 

And their lovingness shows as an intensity of feeling 

And is almost permanently present
