As an Indian
I was as happy in the winter tepee
As I was roaming the prairie in summer
For happiness does not derive from weather
The experiences were different
But the feelings the same
To run to weather for happiness
Is to run from your true self

As a child a rejection of your hurt
Caused you to withdraw
Creating a pattern for your life
Thus causing the problem
For the more you withdrew
The harder it is to renew

The fire crackles
The bacon sizzles
For the person doing the cooking
There are no more grizzles
It’s the smell and the sound that excites
To themself the person recites
Do this again
No need to plan when
Now you know how animals are attracted
It’s the sound and the smell
That creates the spell

When the night is bright
Lit up by star light
In darkness allowing me sight
That I appreciate being able to move up or down, left or right
Thanks to stars far away, expressing their might
In their energy holding me tight
Humans to each other can do the same
If only they were game
For sharing has to become more than a name

People on earth understand that time heals
But they forget that time does not forget
For as people put aside the hurts and lies cast upon them by others
Time is ticking inexorably toward the moment
When disaster occurs to the perpetrators of hurt and lies
With most people not self aware enough to understand
That time has caught up with them for their wickedness
Their only question is whether they atone
Or once again await the ticking of time

People living in heavily suburbanised areas
Crave privacy more than greenery
For having been raised without privacy or greenery
They value privacy more highly
Hence the battle to value nature
For they don’t realise that in greenery
They find both greenery and privacy

The way humans live their life on earth
Means that serenity can only come in micro doses
For serenity can only come in the absence of conflict
Which is a human specialty
Not for all humans
Just those who are not doing what they are meant to be doing in life
Which is most.
Which in turn causes them to seek out conflict so as to match
What is inside them

How the mighty have fallen
Is a common earthly catch cry
But how do you know that they were mighty in the first place
The mighty are those who when stripped of their sword
Replace it more effectively with a pen

She wished she was me
But I was a he
No bush wishes they were a tree
No giraffe wishes to be cut off at the knee
So she was faced with a decision
To be or not to be she, not me

When you give a dog a treat
And it gets a sugar high
It doesn’t turn nasty
When you give a human a treat
And it gets a sugar high
Generally they then turn nasty
What is the difference ?
A lack of desire by humans to care enough about a fellow human to control it

Salespeople try to convince everyone that they are right
Drug dealers get people hooked on their drugs
Cartel leaders exterminate their opposition

Why is the world so stereotyped
And people so narrowly defined

Let the preachers preach
And let the people learn and expand

As the memories of your life float by
Insistently tugging at your mind
You are at a turning point
For the memories will cause you to be still
As you reflect on what was and why
Are you going to stay the same or reach for the sky
If you choose the sky for any reason other than to be more loving
Then the day will come when you once again
Become flooded with memories tugging at your mind
And once again you ask why
For in life no matter what decision you make
If it’s not to be more loving
You are destined to fall

In various guises through many countries
Escorts have existed through time
in some cultures it is an honourable profession
In others it is less so
When less so it is often shrouded by secrecy
With escorts using false names to hide their identity
And telling fanciful stories to enhance their saleability
The risk is that false names and story telling become a habit
To increase their saleability in any part of their life
Without the risk of being held accountable
During the process they feel invulnerable and powerful
Leaving them the rest of their life to slowly regret it
Their diminishing life can be altered by a truth telling
Very few such people are capable of this
Allowing the rot in their life to continue

Consciousness in a spiritual sense
Relates to a state of being
That has an awareness that there is a higher power at play
Causing actions beyond the human capability to cause
Like all things spiritual, knowledge is in degrees
Consciousness is a first step on a spiritual journey
To a deeper knowledge of the effect of spirit on human life
This first step of consciousness takes people beyond the belief
Of the omnipotence of man

The human mind is limiting
Few people are conscious enough to understand
That when they are doing something bad to others
And something bad happens to them or their family
That the second action is directly related to their first action

The farmer left a run of hay for the cows.
They congregated in bunches, fighting each other for hay
Meanwhile the majority of the food supply was untouched
For to seek it out would require a cow of great difference
Finally one breaks ranks and seeks out fresh hay
Within minutes others follow to form a new congregation
So it is
Cows or humans
It takes one to be different and follow its own instinct
So as to allow others to follow
For few cows feeding in the same field
and few humans living a repetitive life
Remember what instinct is
Let alone trust it

When my mother was young
I wasn’t born
When my mother was relatively young
I was a newborn
When my mother was middle aged
I was an adult
When my mother was old
I was middle aged
When my mother was dying
I was crying
Because, for better or worse
My mother was my model to copy in life’s stages
Now I’m alone with no mother there
I realise that life is unfair
Just when I have the time for my mother
I’m left only with those for whom I don’t deeply care
A sister and a brother, alas, I now miss you mother.

Every scene has a perspective of beauty
Every smell has in it a fragrance that delights
Every field grows grass anew after the soaking rain
Every time the sun shines it bleaches man’s stains
There is hope, those who are bad will not see it
And those who are good must drink it in.
