In the cascading rapids the duck swims
Turned sideways by the flow
Allowing itself to be carried sideways
Until the water slowed
Only then did it bother to straighten itself
And head to where it needed to go
This is going with the flow
Don’t fight when there is no point
And it doesn’t matter anyway
Only when exerting extra effort
Gets you to where you need
Do you bother
