The birds go to sleep
The snakes are buried deep
And the human begins to weep
For their hurts they want to keep
In daylight not giving a peep
But as night comes they are alone
And those who hurt them, they are wanting them to atone
But humans rarely do that,
Especially after a spat
Which is why the animal sleeps
And the human weeps
