The night storm was fierce
Leaving a trail of damage and exhaustion
The next morning the birds were silent
Until a solitary crow called out
At first Hesitantly then demanding to be heard
Causing other bird’s to respond
Until the morning air was filled with the sound of birds calling
And normality returned to the earth
