In the wild winds of winter
As Indians we sat in our tepees
Warm from the fire
But not able to escape the powerful sound and energy of the wind
We knew when to not argue with nature
For it was more powerful than man
Nature destroys those who try to dominate it
Perhaps not immediately and it may be your own children who pay
But nature will inevitably set out to correct and balance
The damage done to it by man
