When a person is given an opportunity for significant growth in their life, the opportunity is generally for them to catch up to where they should be.
Rarely will they succeed in such an opportunity, for it will require more commitment and effort than they have allowed themselves to undertake. They will then find a reason to justify quitting so they can return to their easier life.
