Crazy Horse on receiving help

People who never seek help to overcome the emotional hurts of their life, will always be limited in the relationship they have, or can have.

People who spend years receiving help for the emotional hurts of their life, will always be limited in the relationship they have, or can have.

Those who never seek help will carry with them a blocked off part of themselves which will stop them showing all of themselves.

Those who are forever receiving help face the trap of living in the past and will not fully face the future.

Receiving help is essential.  So is learning from the help and acting upon it.

When not in a relationship, loneliness is having no one to share what you experienced and learned during that day.

When in a relationship, loneliness is when the person with you does not want to listen to what you experienced and learned during that day.

The coming of age for an Indian boy was when we were accepted as a warrior.

The coming of age for a person in your civilisation is when you choose to take time from your life to rescue another.

Once rescued and back to full strength, what do you do when they turn on you, which so often happens.

Move on from them and seek the next one to help.

Crazy Horse on insecurity

Insecurity is when you are in a dark stage in life and whilst you are aware there is a light guiding you forward, you cannot trust it.

Instead you wander around in the dark trying to find your own way and getting more and more lost and fearful.

Therefore, security lays in trusting the direction the light is taking you in and following it.
