Then spreads its tentacles to other parts of your life

Group think disguises an inertia to be accountable
Passing responsibility to others
Governments rely on group think
For the benefit of themselves
And to the detriment of their constituents
The more Governments want to induce group think on an issue
The more threatening they are and to those who they seduce into group think
The more rewards they throw their way.

A bird is never dispirited by life
It is never too much trouble to move from the branch they are occupying
It just sits patiently waiting for the next opportunity for food to show itself
Then it moves with the same purpose and speed as it did the time before
And will the next time.
Thus the problem with being dispirited
Is that it reduces your readiness for the next step in your life.
