Crazy Horse on 'saints and sinners'

Being a saint or a sinner is a state endowed upon you by parts of society because of your actions.  Be aware that only a moment in time separates a saint and a sinner, for at any time one can become either.

In helping a sinner become a saint, they just need to be taught to think beyond themselves and their own needs.

In helping a saint to remain a saint, they have to be taught that they have needs.

Crazy Horse on Harmony

Which bird in nature is disconnected from all other birds?  None.  All birds are in tune with the energy and existence of all others birds and sing their song to add to the symphony of noise from other birds.  In the bird world this creates harmony.

The existence of this harmony comes about through the connection between all birds.

It's a good place to start for national and international harmony.  Accept the presence and energy of all other people and add to their music of life.

Crazy Horse on the wisdom of the baby

If the voice of a baby is sufficiently loud and insistent to have its needs met, why haven't adults learned to do the same.

Speak out in a voice insistently demanding to have your needs met, particularly by your leaders.  In so doing you will have learned the wisdom of the baby and will begin to change your world.

crazy Horse on gifts

In choosing a gift for another, there are two that from time to time they will need.  The first is the encouragement to meet their own karma which will inevitably mean taking the road less travelled.  The second is encouragement to not commit acts to others which will only bring a bigger karma.

The key is not in the karma, but in the encouragement.  It is the missing ingredient in so many lives.

Crazy Horse on 'black and white' thinking

There is, by itself, nothing wrong with being a black and white thinker, for it can lead a person to being a decision maker.  However, as a general rule, the more a person is a black and white thinker, the more judgemental they are and the less tolerant and compassionate they are.  This is a reflection of their childhood.

Where an adult person chooses to remain black and white, they are choosing to hold onto their childhood rather than grow.

Crazy Horse on electing leaders

So many societies in the world today elect political leaders who take office burdened with promises to interest groups who helped them get elected.

The opposite is to elect a political leader unburdened by promises to interest groups.  On the face of it, this is a better choice, unless the political leader is burdened with  misshapen beliefs which are a much greater burden to society than interest groups.

Crazy Horse on political correctness

Political correctness ought to be seen as necessary at a point in time in history when a culture is still adapting its behaviour away from bias and prejudice to that of greater acceptance and equality.

Beware of those who decry political correctness and be sure they are not trying to return you to a less enlightened time.

Whilst not a recipe for bedding down cultural change, it is, at a point in time, an important symbol to acknowledge all people as equal.

Crazy Horse on brinkmanship

The act of brinkmanship is disguised aggression and bullying, overtly trying to force an opponent to cower and give in to your terms.

Whilst political leaders act with brinkmanship and the public allows that behaviour to occur, there cannot be gains in society, just a segregation of power.

Crazy Horse on fighting for peace

As different countries fight for world dominance, disguised as part of a fight for world peace, the outcome can only bring negativity, not peace.

Where the method to find peace includes fighting, peace will not come.  You don't fight for peace, peace only comes via peaceful methods.
