Crazy Horse on trust

I could always trust an animal for they acted purely on instinct, or as you call it, feelings.  All I had to do was get to know the animal and understand their instincts to be able to trust them.

I could rarely trust a human for mostly their instinct or feeling was overridden by thoughts.  These thoughts always included a personal gain.

Therefore, trust is only possible where people act upon their feelings, without the thought of how others would judge them for their actions or how such actions might give them a gain.

All you have to do then is to get to know the person and their feelings.  Thereafter, you can decide whether to trust them based upon whether they act in accordance with those feelings.

Thoughts are the enemy of trust.

Crazy Horse on happiness or hurt.

He stood alone, his heart strong, his spirit weak, filled with trepidation about the future.

His self obsessed tendencies driving him to the brink of extinction.

Would his spirit become strong and guide him to safety and happiness or would his obsession drive him to extinction.

Happiness is never found in hurting others, but in loving them.  Happiness is a joyous place of togetherness.  Obsession , hurting and hatred are a place inhabited by the lonely.

The choice between happiness and hurt will determine the choice the person makes.

Crazy Horse on life's passengers.

The passenger in life is the person who moves forward, looking backwards at there they have been.

Crazy Horse on being attacked in life

A hallmark of a person with high values is their vulnerability.
A hallmark of a person with low values is their need and desire to identify the vulnerability of the good person and attack it so as to hurt them.
The good person must stand by their values, remain vulnerable, but surround themselves with other good people until the threat passes.
Remember the person of low values is a fearful person who attacks because of this fear.  In facing a united front of good, they will run away because of this very fear.

Crazy Horse on changed behaviour from a leader,

When a leader changes their ways because they have learned a better way, they have grown in understanding.

When a leader changes their ways in order to retain the role as a leader, they have learned nothing, they are just practising more subterfuge.

Crazy Horse on advice

You more easily heed the advice of others, when it coincides with your own internal advice.

Therefore, you are not so much acting on your friends advice as your own, reinforced by your friend.

Crazy Horse on the master and the student

The master was a servant to his dreams.  The student a servant to his own dreams.  When their dreams formed different paths, they separated.

The master in his wisdom wished the student well and instructed all to allow the student a free pathway to find his own success.

The student now had to find his own way and when this became difficult he blamed the master who was no longer there to guide him.  Could the student find his way forward as master of his own destiny or would he stall his journey through being upset with the master?

As such time as the student discovers wisdom, he will begin to be master of his own destiny.
